Glory back as water flows into Isfahan's Zayandeh Rud

While water is released into Zayandeh Rud River in the center of Iranian province of Isfahan, many tourists and people have gathered around to relish their moment at the site of this flowing watercourse.

Water has filled the area once again bringing back the glory to Zayandeh Rud River which had been dry for about a year due to lack of water and rain.

The people of Isfahan are exhilarated by seeing the river alive again and have gathered around it to take pictures as water reached the Si-o-se-pol (a bridge over the river).  

The water in Zayandeh Rud is said to be flowing for only 10 days to irrigate the gardens and lands of East Isfahan.
